Roger Robert Hubbard, 37, 1603 Oranged St. drowned off of Bass Island in the Mississippi River on Tuesday.

Services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Fairbanks-Lamb Chapel with the Rev. Robert Barnett officiating. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetar. Visitation will be Friday from 4-9 p.m. et the funeral home.

Pallbarers will be Larry Tietge, Richard Johnson, Donald Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Marvin Johnson and Harold O'Brien.

He was born June 23, 1950, in Muscatine, the son of Robert and Mavis Fuller Hubbard. He married Koralie Thompson on March17, 1970, in Muscatine. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Eagles Lodge. He was employed by the H.J. Heinz Company.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Jeff, at home; his parents; a brother; Kevin of Muscatine; and four sisters, Mrs Steve (denise) Meyer, Blue Grass, Mrs Perry (Rhonda) Shannon, Mrs Joe (Barbara) and Mrs Roy (Donna) Yerrington, all of Musatine.
