MUSCATINE, Iowa—Stephen Joel “Reno” Musser, 63, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. He was an organ donor to help the lives of others.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the family in care of Zelda Musser.

Stephen was born on July 31, 1951, to Robert and Shirley Essex Musser in Muscatine. He married Linda Brauer and later divorced. He married Zelda Heitmeier on Nov. 13, 1982, at the Little Brown Church in Nassau, Iowa. He worked construction for Honts Construction Company, and later drove a van for Non-Emergency Transport.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved music and enjoyed playing the drums, softball, Libby the dog at All-American Care, motorcycle shows in Davenport, and riding his Harley.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife Zelda; one son Heath Musser, and fiancé Wendy, of Muscatine; granddaughter Darrien Musser, of Las Vegas, Nev.; godsons Colton Clark and Dylan Wagoner; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Michael Musser
