Ellen "Ellie" E. MCGUIRE - Muscatine, Iowa - age 44, died Feb. 1, 1995, at the Muscatine General Hospital. She was born Jan. 28, 1951, in Muscatine, a daughter of Frederick R. and Lois (BOWSER) HEERD. On Feb. 23, 1973, she married Dennis L. MCGUIRE, in Muscatine. She was a lifelong Muscatine area resident and had been employed 25 years at the Central State Bank. She was a member and pre-school Sunday school teacher of the Wesley United Methodist Church, and a member of the Optimist Club. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Molly Marie MCGUIRE, at home; her mother, Lois HEERD, Muscatine; one brother, Frederick R. HEERD Jr., Tehachapi, Calif.; and two sisters, Laurel A. OWENS, Sturgis, and Mrs. John (Mary) LISTER, Fremont, Wis. Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the George M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, Muscatine, where services are at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Charles Gilbert, Wesley United Methodist Church; will officiate. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alzeimers Wing at Lutheran Homes. Pallbearers are Gary Kaalburg, John Stolley, Jerry Diekman, Nick Emmlet, Wayne Sanders and Jack Mergen.
