Robert "Bob" Williamson VIEW PROFILE

Robert Bob Williamson

I am sorry to say but we have lost another classmate. Bob Williamson joined us for his senior year of High School, having attended L&M High School thru his junior year. Bob was my first cousin and most of you will remember him as the "Elvis Impersanator" at our 45th reunion.

obert (Bob) Stanley Williamson Jr. (age 67), passed away in his home last Sunday night, May 27th, 2018. Bob was born November 20th, 1950 to Robert Stanley Williamson Sr. and Joyce Verlee McDaniel in New Orleans, Louisiana. Bob lived life to the fullest. With outstanding conduct, he served in the Air Force for many years. He was a proud soldier and loved his country fiercely. As an Elvis Tribute Artist, Bob captivated thousands over the years through his charisma and charm. His performances ranged from Louisiana and Mississippi all the way to Graceland! He even did some star acts on his infamous cruise ship vacations! In recent years, Bob continued his life in the limelight as a Karaoke DJ. He will be remembered by many as a friend who encouraged both their self-confident and their playful side, and for his spontaneous serenades. He had an uncanny ability to bring out the best in people. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren. He is survived by his three sisters, Monty, Karla, and Penny, as well as his two sons, Brian and Paul and their “huns” Jessica and Annabelle. Finally, his treasured grandchildren, Isla Rose, and Maverick. Family, friends and adoring fans whose lives were touched by Bob, are invited to a formal military committal of his cremains at the Southeast LA Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA at 1:30PM on Friday the 8th of June, followed immediately by a celebration of his life, location TBD.
