MUSCATINE — Ruth Ann Wade Black, 66, of Muscatine, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, April 10, 2017, at the University Hospitals, Iowa City.
Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, Muscatine. Burial will take place in Muscatine Memorial Park. A time of food and fellowship will be at Pearl City Outreach following the committal service. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, at the funeral home. Ruth Ann was born on Jan. 17, 1951, in Muscatine, the daughter of Luke and Effie Irene Anderson Wade. She married Douglas Black on March 5, 1988.
She had worked for several medical institutions as a phlebotomist. She has been involved with the Jesus Mission. She loved to play cards, fish, clean and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
