I love being back in Muscatine, got flooded out of Oakville in '08. Back on my feet after years of bad feet and a broken ankle. Met Myrt at a funeral visitation and it was like yesterday at Lucas Grove country school. We go with Cindy Stange Kaufman once a month to eat and shop. Been going to American Legion Aux. meetings with Myrt, Connie and Willa. I was so quiet and shy in school, but not any more!!! I had to behave in school because of a very strict, Ret. Army Col. for a Dad. I be myself and don't care what people have or don't have life is short, enjoy it!!! I met Pete Beeding when we both worked at Luthern Homes. He got fired for seeing me. We have had 37 years of a one night stand. Always liked Steve and he was always teasing me. Wish we could have had more time with him.
